We have open positions for Master internship (minimum duration: 6 months). The projects focuse on studying neuron-glial networks in the hypothalamus using postmortem human brain tissue donated by individuals with obesity, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, Prader–Willi syndrome, or Cushing’s syndrome. The training includes human hypothalamic anatomy, basic histology, immunohistochemical and immunofluorescent staining, bright‑field imaging, and multiphoton microscopy. Image analysis is performed using modified ImageJ or through 3D reconstruction and analysis with Imaris software.
